WHO WE ARE **** Covenant Global Ministries USA, Inc. ("CGMUSA") is a Maryland tax-exempt corporation formed for faith-based charitable purposes. CGMUSA is recognized by the United States Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt public charity under subsection 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code ("IRC"). Its tax exempt identification number is 47-4987095. Contributions made to CGMUSA may be deductible for federal income tax purposes, under section 170 of the IRC. CGMUSA is qualified to receive tax deductible gifts, bequests, and similar transfers of property or funds. WHAT WE DO **** CGMUSA's activities include sponsoring or administering (or providing financial and other support to those who sponsor or administer) charitable works, such as health clinics, orphan care, food and clothing distribution, vocational training, and infrastructure improvements, within under-served areas in the U.S. and internationally that are characterized by extreme poverty. CGMUSA also engages in activities (and provides financial and other support to others engaged in activities) to spread the Christian faith in unreached areas and in areas where the Christian faith is newly emerging, particularly in international venues. These activities including radio broadcasts, revivals, crusades, church plantings, preaching conferences, Bible instruction, corporate worship , and similar events. At present, one of CMGUSA's primary actions is to support through scholarships, donations of goods and services and other means, faith-based, private academic and vocational schooling located in an impoverished remote rural area of Uganda.
